Empty or expired fire extinguishers should be disposed of appropriately and safely.  Arcata Fire District is not able to accept used or expired extinguishers.  

Extinguishers can be disposed of at Humboldt Waste Management Authority.

They can also be disposed of, checked, or refilled by:
