Coloring Contest – Rules & Instructions

Arcata Fire District is excited to host a  Coloring Contest as part of our Emergency Preparedness Kit Giveaway. This activity is designed to engage families, promote emergency preparedness, and encourage creativity in our community.

Eligibility

To be eligible to win an Emergency Preparedness Kit, participants must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Coloring Contest Entry
   • The contestant must color one official Arcata Fire District coloring page.
   • The completed coloring page must include the name.
2. Submission Method
   Completed coloring pages may be submitted by one of the following methods:
   • In person:
     Arcata Fire District Headquarters
     2149 Central Avenue
     McKinleyville, CA 95519
   • Email:
     Scan or photograph the completed coloring page and email it to
     info@arcatafire.org
3. Social Media Requirement
   • A parent or guardian must follow at least two (2) of the four (4) official Arcata Fire District social media accounts.

   • https://www.instagram.com/arcatafiredistrict/
   • (Our official accounts are listed on our website and social media pages.)

Submission Deadline

• All entries must be received by February 10, 2026.

Winner Announcement

• The winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026.
• Winners will be contacted using the information provided at the time of submission.

Additional Information

• Limit one entry per child.
• No purchase is necessary to participate.
• By submitting an entry, participants grant Arcata Fire District permission to display the artwork for community engagement and educational purposes.
• Arcata Fire District reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway if necessary.
